Sri Lanka’s National Chamber of Exporters to hold Forum to create awareness and guide local exporters

National Chamber of Exporters (NCE) of Sri Lanka has made arrangements to hold a Forum in a bid to create awareness among member exporters of the Chamber as well as others and to guide them in their future activities.
The Forum is scheduled to be held on Wednesday (7) at the Marino Beach Hotel in Colombo 3.
The Forum will be addressed by three prominent personalities Professor Ajith de Alwis, Ruchi Gunawardane and Dr. Chandra Embuldeniya, the local media has reported.
Accordingly, Professor Ajith de Alwis is a Chemical Process Engineering at the University of Moratuwa and Project Director of the Coordinating Secretariat for Science & Technology Innovation (COSTI) will speak on “Innovation and Differentiation.”
Ruchi Gunawardane, Managing Director of Brand Finance Pvt. Ltd and well-known personality related to Brand Development and Brand Valuation will speak on the subject of “Branding of Products and Services.”
Dr. Chandra Embuldeniya is a former Vice Chancellor of the Sabaragamuwa University and a member of the Board of Directors of SLINTEC and a well experienced businessman and Chamber personality. He will speak on the subject of “Value Addition.”
These addresses will be followed by a Panel Discussion to enable participants to clarify issues related to the above three vital areas.
The NCE has called on exporters of products and services, service providers to exporters and others, to make use of this opportunity to enhance their knowledge on the benefits that could be accrued by them at this event.

Sri Lanka enjoys many trade agreements as well as trade concessions that further help the growth of the country’s exports sector.
