South Asia’s premier textile and garment manufacturing platform gets underway
Daily FT: Intex–InMac Sri Lanka, South Asia’s premier international textile sourcing and garment manufacturing technology exhibition, was inaugurated recently by Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti.
Held at the BMICH recently, the event was attended by Industrial Development Board (IDB) Chairman Yasas Hewage, Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) Chairman Felix Fernando, senior Government officials, ambassadors, industry leaders, representatives of business chambers and trade associations, exhibitors, and international buyer delegations.
Following the inauguration, the dignitaries toured the exhibition halls and officially opened the Incredible Textiles of India Pavilion, one of the major international attractions of this year’s exhibition, showcasing India’s diverse textile capabilities and innovations.
Held from 5-7 August 2026, Intex–InMac Sri Lanka brings together over 250 exhibitors from more than 15 countries and regions.
