RFP request for the supply, maintenance & charging of 200 nos. electric buses
Proposals are invited from duly qualified interested bidders/consortiums for procurement, maintenance and charging of 12m fully built air-conditioned electric buses, 200 nos. for the operation by Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB).
In addition, Design and setting up of the required civil and electrical works and related equipment for supply of power to charging infrastructure and construction of maintenance depot, 33 kV or 11 kV Substation including connection to utility supply shall he commissioned on or before the supply of the first batch of e-buses.
Supplied buses have to be compliant with the technical specifications in the RFP.
The buses to be deployed by the SLTB are proposed to be operated in identified routes during the contract period.
The supplier shall, at its own cost and expense, procure, finance for, and undertake the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and operation of the maintenance depot for the maintenance of buses.
