RFP for the Airport Masterplan Development in Sri Lanka
An Opportunity to bid for the consultancy project for the development of the Airport Master Plan for Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). The Master Plan to indicate phased development plans for the next 30 years with forecasted air traffic demands (passenger, cargo & aircraft) for each and every stage of development in long, medium and short term. Report shall be supported with 3D animation, and Basic Conceptual design together with cost estimation with the options and report on feasibility in terms of Financial, Economical, Environmental and Social of such stages with options. This includes all infrastructure including air navigation and services requirements. At the end of the study the Consultant shall provide many important aspects to a masterplan such as Executive Summary, Introduction of airport Strategy, Traffic forecasts, Situation Analysis, System Capacity, Demand / Gap analysis, Application of New Technologies and benefit analysis, Design options analysis, Evaluation Criteria, Stakeholder Engagement, Financial Assessment, Economic, Social and Environment Analysis, Capital Development Program, etc. It is an essential requirement to develop and update the Airport Master Plan by the Airport Operation license holder for the expansion of an aerodrome.
