Package 2 – PSSREIP – Design, Supply, and Install Overhead Transmission Lines on Turnkey Basis
The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank
(ADB) under Loan No. 4548-SRI, proudly presents an exclusive opportunity to invest in and
partner on Package 2 of the Power System Strengthening and Renewable Energy
Integration Project (PSSREIP). This programme is geared towards modernising Sri Lanka’s
power transmission network to accommodate increasing renewable energy generation.
Package 2 is a turnkey procurement and installation project focused on the construction
and grid integration of high-voltage overhead transmission lines across followng areas.
132kV transmission line from Matara to Hambantota (78 km)
Single in & out connection to Homagama Grid Substation from Horana – Padukka line
(7.7 km)
Double in & out integration from New Habarana – Veyangoda 220kV line to Mirigama
Grid Substation (1.5 km)
Single in & out from Katunayake – Bolawatta 132kV line to Negombo Grid Substation
