The Government of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received a credit (USD 55 Million) from the International Development Association (IDA) in various currencies towards the cost associated with scale up of Strategic Cities Development Project including the city region of Jaffna. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this credit will be applied to eligible payments under the Contract for Rehabilitation and Improvement to Jaffna Ponnalai Point Pedro Road (AB 21) from chainage 1+830 km to 14+600km.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedure.
