Sri Lanka’s JAT Holdings’ Bangladesh plant manufacturing operations ahead of schedule
Sri Lanka’s JAT Holdings Ltd. is all set to begin its manufacturing operations in Bangladesh that would further boost the company’s presence in the Bangladeshi market.
JAT Holdings is ahead of schedule to fulfill its near-term objectives after securing the required premises and factory for manufacturing.
The manufacturing facility is conveniently located at the proposed Savar Division of the Dhaka District, which is seen as a central location to carry out JAT’s business in Bangladesh.
JAT has also made way to ship necessary equipment which is crucial for the manufacturing of fast-moving wood coatings.
The Company has also achieved its budgeted targets from Bangladesh for the first four months of the year amounting to Rs. 445 million.
This is largely due to the high market demand from specific industries and due to the brand loyalty for OEM in Bangladesh from reputed firms such as Partex Furniture, Hatil Complex Ltd., Nadia Furniture Ltd., Brothers Furniture Ltd., Akhtar Furniture Ltd., etc.
Following JAT’s recent IPO, the Company has now been listed at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
