Sri Lanka’s Idea Group of Companies sets up new ceiling sheet manufacturing factory

Idea Group of Companies in Sri Lanka has reportedly commissioned a new ceiling sheet manufacturing factory recently.
The company, which is a fully Sri Lankan owned company, is known to offer revolutionary roofing solutions and interior decorating solutions to Sri Lankans.
The factory is to cater to constantly increasing demand for i-Panel and expand services to manufacture i-Panels in more designs and colours. The local media has reported that consumers will now be able to obtain this 100 per cent Sri Lankan product in size 2×2 and in an assortment of over 100 designs to suit their requirements.
According to reports, i-Panel has many advantages and specialties over usual ceiling sheets and can be installed with ease. Its core competency is the ability to be fixed from both sides. The technical plans of over 100 designs of i-Panels have Patent license.
i-Panel and i-Roof and an array of other related products are manufactured under the SLIVILIMA brand. These reportedly include green-oriented roofing products and interior decorating solutions that contribute towards preserving rain forests and greenery in the country.
“i-Panels are not made of wood. Yet the product is made to offer Teak, Mahogany and Burutha wooden look. The product does not contain attributes that stimulate cancer. i-Panel is not inflammable and it doesn’t need painting from time to time. Water and insects cannot harm the product. Since it is light in weight, fixing doesn’t require much labour. Thus it saves costs of fixing,” the company has stated.
