Sri Lanka’s HVA Foods into imported herbs distribution
Daily FT: Sri Lanka’s HVA Foods PLC has stated that it has executed an exclusive herb distribution agreement with Muggenburg Pflanzliche Rohstoffe GmbH & Co. KG on 29 October for the distribution of herbs, targeting the value-added tea export, nutraceutical, and supplement companies in Sri Lanka.
The company had revealed the latest development via a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange on 1 November.

The latest business venture undertaken by HVA Foods to become a distributor of herbs for value-added tea exports, indicates the new business/investment opportunities emerging in Sri Lanka. With Sri Lanka’s economy on a steady growth path after facing an economic crisis in the past few years, there are many new business/investment opportunities emerging in the country.
