Hayleys Solar of Sri Lanka was reportedly commissioned to install a roof-mounted solar system solution with a capacity of 914 kWp for Fantasia Industries Ltd.

Hayleys Solar is a partner of the Major Tier 1 solar panel and inverter manufacturers providing 25 years of performance warranty and its suppliers include Longi Solar, the world’s leading supplier of PV panels, as well as JA Solar and Canadian Solar, which rank 4th and 5th respectively in the Bloomberg ranking.
The government of Sri Lanka is meanwhile looking at installing 100,000 Rooftop Solar panels with a capacity of 5kW on the roof of houses of 100,000 selected low income families.
The families will be provided with a concessionary bank loan scheme and the programme will enable them to earn an additional income in addition to their loan installment. Another objective of this is to convert the dependents of low income families into entrepreneurs instead of being dependents of the subsidy for low income families, local media reports stated.
