Sri Lanka’s Fcode Labs expands into Europe with key partnership in Sweden

Daily FT: Fcode Labs, a global software product company based in Sri Lanka, has entered the European market through a new strategic partnership in Sweden. The company announced that Anton Lundberg, a well-known Swedish tech entrepreneur, will join Fcode Labs as Partner and Country Director for Sweden.
The partnership aims to deliver cutting-edge SaaS products and AI solutions to European businesses by combining local leadership with Sri Lanka’s engineering strength. With this move, Fcode Labs plans to support European companies facing tech talent shortages and help them scale digital products quickly.
The collaboration will also help Fcode Labs grow its presence in the European startup and enterprise space by co-developing products from Stockholm, backed by its experienced engineering teams in Colombo.
Anton Lundberg brings over a decade of experience building tech startups across Europe. He founded a fintech application in 2006, which raised millions in funding in 2009 and now serves millions of users worldwide.
Over the years, Anton has worked on more than 50 digital products alongside Sri Lankan teams, helping companies raise funding and reach global users. His experience in scaling tech ventures will be pivotal in Fcode Labs’ mission to deliver innovative solutions to European markets. “This isn’t just outsourcing,” said Anton Lundberg. “It’s about creating global products together, faster. I’m excited to build with Fcode Labs and bring real value to the European market.”
Fcode Labs has already completed high-impact projects in Europe, including an AI surveillance platform for PromiseQ GmbH in Germany and an AI-powered protein analysis system for Exazyme GmbH. The company’s proven track record in AI and product development makes it a strong partner for businesses looking to innovate.
“Our partnership with Anton is based on trust, speed, and global ambition,” said Fcode Labs Co-founder Tharindu Malawaraarachchi. “We’re ready to launch tech that can compete on a global scale.”
As the partnership kicks off, Fcode Labs plans to launch new SaaS products, grow its European customer base, and explore new markets. With leadership based in Stockholm and engineering based in Colombo, the company aims to bring world-class technology to businesses across the continent.
