Sri Lanka’s Dipra Engineers awarded supply of two units of material hoists to a factory in Ethiopia

Dipra Engineers (Pvt) Ltd of Sri Lanka has reportedly been awarded the supply, installation and commissioning of two units of material hoists to a garment factory in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
It is one of the largest projects valued at millions rupees undertaken by Dipra and the company will be engaged in the designing of the hoists to its installation.
According to local media reports, Dipra has started exporting its goods and services since 2008 and has been able to expand and create more business with Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Maldives as well.
Dipra is a leading company with expertise in the manufacture of material hoists since 1999 and the company has extended its business from manufacturing of material hoist to many other vertical transportation systems.
Dipra significantly has over 1,600 units functioning in well-known multinational companies, super market chains, garment factories, government institutions, tea factories, hotels and restaurants, food and beverage companies, private and government hospitals, shopping complexes, educational and banking institutes, local media reports state.
“We are capable of what we do, and we have mastered our skills to serve our clients in high quality and to bring the business to an international level, by exporting our goods and services and creating more foreign revenue to the country. The supply order secured by a Sri Lankan company is indicative of the strength and growth of the country’s private sector. The business conducive environment in the country and the ease of doing business environment in the island have helped the growth of Sri Lankan companies. Foreign businesses could explore the possibility of forming partnerships/joint ventures with Sri Lankan companies and exploit the many agreements as well as trade concessions enjoyed by the country to engage in business expansions in the South Asian region.
