Sri Lanka’s Damro Group unveils first ever AI Zone in partnership with Samsung
Daily FT: In a revolutionary move to enhance the technological landscape of Sri Lanka, Damro has unveiled its first ever AI-powered smart zone in partnership with Samsung. This Samsung AI Zone, located at Marino Mall, Colombo 3 is set to redefine how Sri Lankans experience AI-powered technology and smart living.
This initiative marks a significant milestone in the longstanding partnership between Damro Group and Samsung Sri Lanka. The zone was officially opened for viewing by Samsung Sri Lanka Managing Director SangHwa Song, Director and Head of CE Biz Sabry Ansar, Deputy General Manager and Head of MX Biz Thushara Rathnaweera, Damro Joint Managing Director Nalaka Gunathilaka and Directors Calvin Croner and Ajith Pathirawasam. Their presence emphasised the shared commitment of both companies towards innovation and fineness.
Damro-Samsung AI Zone is a one-stop location for a wide range of AI-powered products catering to tech-savvy shoppers. From Samsung Smart TVs, Refrigerators, Washing Machines and Galaxy Smartphones resulting in cutting-edge home automation systems, the zone is set to empower lifestyles through pioneering technology of the Global giant – Samsung.
Damro offers state-of-the-art grand scale showrooms, and the Marino Mall is just one example of this, with the addition of the Samsung powered AI Zone customers are equipped to make thoughtfully made smart decisions.

The overall expansion of the country’s manufacturing industry has specifically presented a host of new business/investment opportunities.
