SLT-Mobitel unveils ‘The Arena’; new Experience Centre where smart innovation meets technology.
Daily FT: SLT-Mobitel, the National ICT Solutions Provider, unveiled its novel Experience Centre, ‘The Arena’, showcasing next generation innovative customer-centric solutions and services, helping to drive digital transformation through the use of new technologies, enabling a redefined lifestyle experience.
The Arena is located at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) at Colombo 7, recognised as a versatile and unique location in the heart of Colombo.
The launch of the new facility was graced by Group Chairman Rohan Fernando, Group CEO Lalith Seneviratne, SLT CEO Janaka Abeysinghe, Mobitel CEO Chandika Vitharena and senior officials of the SLT-Mobitel.
Addressing the guests, Rohan Fernando said, “In today’s digital age, it is essential to demonstrate how innovative solutions can be applied in the home or business environment. SLT-Mobitel and the BMICH, as a premier exhibition centre are collaborating to ensure customers including enterprises experience the gateway to next generation technologies. The Arena will host unique arenas for Digital Lifestyles, a zone for Enterprises and SMEs and eSports. The facility will be the first of its kind offering insight into how these new technologies will benefit society.
The Digital Lifestyle arena will demonstrate Smart Home, offer 5G trial experiences and Smart gadgets. Opening up endless opportunities for enterprises and SMEs, The Arena will also showcase Cloud solutions, Digital Services, Networking solutions, Internet solutions, Data centre solutions, Cyber Security solutions, Voice and Collaboration, Messaging Solutions, Entertainment and IOT Solutions, NFC Solutions, Software Development and Digital Marketing solutions. The Centre will also function as a live streaming centre.
The eSports zone will provide invigorating PC and Console Gaming facilities, Tournament Capabilities, eSport platform and Data services, complete with ultra-fast connectivity.
