2.4MW Low Head Hydro Power Project
The project boasts an estimated Plant Load Factor (PLF) of 60%, which is one of the highest in the country, ensuring a stable and continuous power generation output. This high PLF reflects the plant’s exceptional efficiency and its ability to deliver a consistent energy supply, crucial for meeting growing energy demands sustainably.
Feasibility studies for the project have been completed, and land approval from the District Secretary is currently in progress. The project will make use of state-of-the-art machinery imported from Austria and Germany, ensuring not only high operational efficiency but also long-term reliability and minimal downtime, critical components for any energy production facility.
In addition to the technological advancements, the plant is designed with sustainability at its core, offering a significant environmental benefit. It is
estimated that the facility will offset approximately 10,000 tons of CO₂ annually, contributing to global efforts to combat climate change by reducing carbon emissions.
