It is a foundational enabler for the country’s IT/BPO, fintech, e-commerce, and digital-government ambitions. Sri Lanka’s ICT sector employs more than 175,000 skilled professionals and has more than 500 technology companies and startups, creating sustained demand for connectivity and digital infrastructure.
