Indian company wins deal to improve and build a grid substation for Sri Lanka’s state owned CEB
ABB India Limited has reportedly been selected to improve and build a grid substation for Sri Lanka’s state owned Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), which is expected to cost several millions of Sri Lankan rupees.
The Government Information Department has issued a statement noting that the substation will be built in Biyagama, which is a large industrial zone in Sri Lanka’s Western Province,
The Cabinet of Ministers had reportedly granted approval last month to the awarding of the contract to ABB India Limited.
