OSL take:

Sri Lanka’s tourism industry was one of the main revenue generators prior to the Covid-19 pandemic and is once again on the path to recovery while recording an expansion in business/investment opportunities. Apart from the tourism industry, the economic expansion supported by the ongoing development programme and the positioning of the country as a growing business destination in the South Asian region have increased business travelers visiting the country as well. All these have expanded opportunities in Sri Lanka’s tourism industry, especially in the leisure and hospitality sectors. The confidence shown by foreign businesses by investing in the leisure and hospitality sectors is indicative of the growing business potential in Sri Lanka’s tourism industry.
