OSL take:
Sri Lanka is in the process of further strengthening and expanding the country’s trade ties with foreign countries. The steadily growing exports industry in Sri Lanka continues to present many business/investment opportunities. While carrying out promotional campaigns and expanding trade ties with foreign countries, local authorities are also engaged in creating awareness among local export manufacturers to add value to their products to the foreign markets as well as to expand their export product portfolios. All these have helped the steady growth of Sri Lanka’s manufacturing industry, which is evident by the growth and profits recorded by businesses in the manufacturing and export sectors. Given the many trade agreements and trade concessions enjoyed by Sri Lanka with many foreign countries and the holding of Sri Lanka Expo 2026 could further expand the business/investment opportunities in Sri Lanka’s exports sector. Foreign businesses/investors could therefore confidently explore the expanding opportunities in Sri Lanka’s exports sector.
