Procurement of Supply and Delivery of Vehicle Number Plates
The Ministry of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation invites bids under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for the supply and delivery of vehicle number plates for the Department of Motor Traffic in Sri Lanka. The scope of this procurement includes the supply of number plates, primarily for newly registered vehicles, as well as for other necessities outlined in the bid document. Foreign bidders are welcome to participate and may submit their bids through accredited local agents. With a minimum 10-year durability requirement , enhanced security features such as hotstamped foil, engraved serial numbers, and retro-reflective elements, and a state-leased production space within DMT premises, this project ensures a cost-effective operational model. The successful bidder will also have the opportunity to implement digitally integrated solutions for real-time vehicle tracking and database management, further enhancing the long-term value proposition.
