PROCUREMENT OF 100 NOS. COMFORTABLE LOW FLOOR BUSES FOR PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION IN THE URBAN AREAS
The Ministry of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation has announced an International Competitive Bidding (ICB) process for the procurement of 100 comfortable low-floor buses, in two types, to strengthen passenger transportation in Sri Lanka’s urban areas. The project is designed to attract bus manufacturers, suppliers, and joint ventures, with eligibility extended to both local and international bidders. Each vehicle must be built by a recognised manufacturer in compliance with global standards of quality, safety, and reliability
