Integration of Card Payment Facility to Existing Toll Collection System of Expressways
The Road Development Authority (RDA) of Sri Lanka invites eligible and qualified bidders to participate in the tender for integrating a card payment facility into the existing toll collection system of expressways in Sri Lanka. With an estimated total commission of LKR 365 million over five years, the bidding process will follow the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure to ensure a fair selection of the most capable service provider. With daily vehicle transactions averaging 118,000 and toll revenue reaching LKR 40 million per day , modernizing the toll collection system is essential to ensure seamless and efficient operations. In response to the growing demand for cashless and contactless payment options, the Road Development Authority (RDA) of Sri Lanka is seeking a banking partner to integrate a secure and reliable card payment facility into the existing toll collection system . The selected financial institution will be responsible for processing card transactions, ensuring compliance with financial security standards, and seamless integrating the payment system with the toll collection infrastructure.
