Sustainable manufacturing: YKK Lanka partners with Regen Renewables
The Morning: YKK Lanka Pvt. Ltd., a global leader in the manufacturing of metal, coil, and Vislon zippers, has partnered with Regen Renewables, a Sri Lankan renewable energy company, to launch a 1,792 kW solar PV system at its manufacturing facility.
The solar project, featuring DAS Solar panels and Huawei inverters, leverages world-class technology to deliver reliable, high-efficiency energy generation. By integrating this advanced solar solution, YKK Lanka aims to reduce operational energy costs, lower emissions, and support Sri Lanka’s broader transition towards a low-carbon, sustainable industrial economy.
