Sri Lanka’s Lee Hedges Plc to construct billion rupee car park in commercial capital Colombo
Lee Hedges Plc of Sri Lanka has reportedly announced that the company’s board has decided to build a Rs. 1.1 billion car park in a property on a property in the heart of the country’s commercial capital, Colombo.
Located in Colombo 3, the proposed car park is the first phase of a larger commercial development.
Lee Hedges Plc has stated in a stock exchange filing that it will take a 12 months to complete and will have 186 parking slots in six floors.

The investment by a private company in Sri Lanka to set up a car park at a cost of billions of rupees in the heart of Colombo indicates the requirement of supplementary facilities in the city in line with the many development projects that are currently ongoing in the country’s commercial capital.
