Sri Lanka’s channeling sets up AI based Chatbot to assist online doctor appointments
Sri Lanka’s eChannelling in collaboration with France’s Autochatic has reportedly introduced an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Chatbot to assist with online doctor appointments.
The local media has reported that leveraging on Facebook Messenger, ‘Chabot’ is a virtual agent providing a human-like experience in enabling patients to find and fix appointments with doctors and to complete transactions like making payments.
The facility provides real-time updates of appointment sessions, Sri Lanka’s state owned Daily News has stated.
Accordingly, customers can access the Chabot on their mobiles via Messenger or initiating a chat through channeling Facebook page.
The Chabot hopes to expand into other facets like making changes in the channeling details, ongoing number updates, and initiating no show refund requests, the local media has added.
