Sri Lankan government to consider proposal by Belgium’s Agfa NV for digital x-ray systems
The Government Information Department of Sri Lanka has stated that the Sri Lankan government is to consider a proposal by Agfa NV of Belgium to set up digital x-ray systems for several state hospitals.
The Department has stated that Sri Lanka’s Cabinet of Ministers had given its approval for the country’s Health Ministry to seek and evaluate a detailed project proposal from Agfa to replace the existing analogue x-ray machine with digital systems at state hospitals.
The digital x-ray system will allow improved diagnostics, the statement by the Government Information Department has noted.
