OSL take:

Sri Lanka’s tourism authorities are engaged in an aggressive tourism promotional campaign to woo tourists to the country following the blow suffered in the aftermath of the Easter Sunday attacks. However, the country’s tourism sector is now returning to normal with tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka recording gradual increased from last month. Foreign countries have already relaxed travel advisories earlier issued on Sri Lanka and several foreign airlines have announced plans to operate flights to Colombo. All indications now are that Sri Lanka’s tourism industry would record a full bounce back within the next few months. Therefore, foreign investors could explore business/investment opportunities in Sri Lanka’s tourism sector.
