Elyon Hotels chain launches Elyon Colombo in Sri Lanka delivering new age hospitality for business travelers
Elyon Colombo, which is a member of the Elyon Hotels chain, was reportedly launched on Monday (15) becoming the latest addition to Sri Lanka’s hospitality industry delivering new age hospitality for the business traveler.
Elyon Colombo is located at the Orion City in Colombo.
The second hotel opened by Elyon Hotels is to be launched on August 1, presenting unique spaces for young business travelers to rest, network, think and it is designed to offer personalizes and unique services for the guests giving value for the money spent by them.
“As an entrepreneur and businessman this is not the best time to open a hotel with the current situation. But if not now when? Opening a hotel exactly in an industry downturn is the best message we should pass on to the others that as Sri Lankans we believe in our country, industry and ourselves,” Co-Founder, Elyon Hotels, Presantha Jayamaha has been quoted as saying.
The Elyon Colombo is specially catered for the tech-savvy business travelers as well as the MICE travel sector accounting for the fact that large number of companies are located around especially within the Orion City Park.
According to reports, its close proximity to commercial hubs such as Colombo, Fort, Dematagoda and Kelaniya, ensures convenient access and a compelling advantage to businesses in these localities.
“There are no classy hotels located around this area, thus we saw an opportunity to build a hotel here so as to suite the need,” Jayamaha has further noted.
Addressing the media, Chief Operating Officer, Elyon Hotels, Samantha Gunaratne has stated that they had worked together to meet the customer expectations.
“We take a considerable amount of time to train well mannered staff who could serve our customers without leaving room for mistakes,” he has been quoted as saying.
The Elyon Colombo is also built to host a range of MICE, conference or meeting, events with facilities that include three-state-of-the-art meeting and event spaces.
