Cleveland Bridge UK wins contract to build bridges in rural Sri Lanka

The government of Sri Lanka has announced that Cleveland Bridge UK has won a 37.5 million Euro deal to build bridges in rural Sri Lanka.
The bridges are part of a project that will see 4,000 bridges built on rural roadways.
The latest deal will see 175 bridges being built.
The Government Information Department has stated that Sri Lanka’s cabinet of ministers had approved the contract.
According to Wikipedia, Cleveland Bridge UK Ltd is a renowned bridge building and structural engineering company based in Darlington, England. It has been involved in many major projects including the Victoria Falls Bridge, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Humber Bridge.
