Improvements to Saunders Place Storm Water System
The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction & Development towards the cost of Metro Colombo Urban Development Project of Ministry of Megapolis and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Design and Build Contract for Improvements to Saunders Place Strom Water System to be procured and implemented by Colombo Municipal Council, through the Metro Colombo Urban Development Project under Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development. The scope of the work includes design and construction of the facility including
- (i) Civil engineering, architectural Landscaping and demolition work related to construction of underground water retaining structure, pumping facility and associated structures, intake, outlets and conveys and improvements to play ground;
- (ii) installation, testing, Pre commissioning and commissioning of all mechanical & electrical works and all other items etc.
