Sri Lanka’s MW Ventures International and Hirdaramani Group to venture in to the Pakistani market

A Pakistani media outlet, the Daily News International, has recently reported that Sri Lanka’s MW Ventures International and Hirdaramani Group are seeking opportunities to enter into the Pakistan market to expand their business operations.
The Pakistani news report was published quoting a official at the Ministry of Commerce.
Hirdaramani is a pioneer in the Sri Lankan apparel industry, and boasts a cohesive infrastructure providing end-to-end supply chain solutions to the industry through factories in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Ethiopia. Also Hirdaramani’s enduring partnerships with leading global brands further asserts a reputation for streamlined processes and top-quality products, report state.
The new report has noted that MW Ventures International is a service oriented organization comprising of different sectors of expertise focusing on marketing, financial management, and event management. It also provides financial management solutions for any nature of businesses or for individuals.
The report has quoted officials who had told reporters that Pakistan’s commercial secretary in Sri Lanka had meetings with top officials of Hirdaramani Group and MW Ventures and discussed business opportunities in the country.
According to the report, Pakistani exports to Sri Lanka have shown increasing trend during the financial year of 2017/18.

The expansion of two Sri Lankan based companies to the Pakistani market is an encouraging sign to foreign businesses interested in doing business with local companies. Many Sri Lankan based companies have expanded operations into other countries indicating the opportunity for growth for the private sector in the country. Given the strength of the local companies, it would be an encouraging sign for foreign businesses to explore opportunities of forming partnerships with Sri Lankan enterprises.
