Why does Sri Lanka present an opportunity for investment and economic growth
Opportunity Sri Lanka is calling for all foreign writers to submit their entries for the Opportunity Sri Lanka writing competition.If you are a skilled and passionate individual with an interest in the areas of economy, investment, business and tourism of Sri Lanka, we invite to you submit your best writing work.
The competition is open to writers who possess a high level of professional and business writing skills and who can combine extensive research with the keen ideas of a wordsmith.
The top 10 writers would earn the chance to be published on the OSL platform under their authorship. The winner of the competition will earn the chance not only to be published but the chance to win a 5 day tour around Sri Lanka.
- All writers must complete their name, address, email, contact details accurately.
- The writers may submit submit any blog or websites they are writing for as samples of work.(If available.)
- The decision of the OSL selection committee shall be final
- Any in-accurate details shall immediately result in a disqualification for the writer and OSL shall not be liable for any loss.
- OSL reserves the right to amend to regulations on the competition at any given point and such amendments will be published through the website.
- OSL shall take all submitted articles as work belonging to OSL, free of any copyright, royalty or any claim on behalf of the writer.
- Deadline: All entries must be submitted to Opportunity Sri Lanka by 15th August 2017 and no late entries will be entertained.
- Number of entries: All candidates can only submit one entry each and any additional entries but the first received shall be disregarded.
- Word Count : 1200 words, plus or minus 20%.
- Ownership: Opportunity Sri Lanka shall become the owner of any materials submitted and only the top 10 and the winner shall be credited in publishing. OSL reserves the right to use any other material in a manner deemed fit by OSL.
- Selection Procedure: Selection of top 10 writers and the winner shall be under the sole discretion of OSL and its’ decision shall be final.
